Patrick Andersen to Lead Carlson Wagonlit Travel UK & Ireland

 

LONDON, January 30, 2012 – Carlson Wagonlit Travel (CWT) today announced that Patrick Andersen has been promoted to Executive Vice President UK & Ireland, Nordics and Eastern Europe, effective 1 February. He replaces Andrew Waller, who was recently promoted to President Europe Middle East & Africa, and Global Partners Network, CWT.

Andersen will lead CWT UK & Ireland while continuing responsibility for CWT’s Nordic and Eastern Europe regions. He will be based in the UK, and report to Andrew Waller.

 

Andersen joined CWT in 2008 as Country Manager Denmark, and became Executive Vice President for the Nordic region in 2009. In this role, Andersen successfully integrated Ark Travel into CWT Sweden and led the acquisition and integration of Kaleva Travel in Finland. Most recently, the Eastern European zone was added to his responsibilities.

Prior to CWT, Andersen worked for 23 years at DHL. He held various international positions in sales and marketing, operations and general management, including a three-year tenure in the UK.
